I changed my mind and sewed up button holes and put on snaps with button

I am casting on 8 extra stitches (4 sts each front) then do three rows the add 4 sts to back in middle make one front and back method)as most others have done to allow for more width ( mark all sections including extra stitches with stitch markers so I stay in pattern and don’t have any blonde moments and forget I added extra stitches!)

I wanted 3 buttons made button holes:

Row 31
Remember to work K3, yfwd, k2tog from edge

Also add two extra rows before split for sleeves so no gapping holes under arms from lace pattern. (40 rows)

Then to get more A-line shaping after split for sleeves and working 3rows on body I added 6 more sts (2 under both arms and 2 at center back, make one front and back method) super cute! For Boys cardigan I may not have done this but for girls it’s cute!

Next time I may do icord edging on button bands?
