This feels like a silly postscript confession, but I finished working on this so close to the fair that I was literally pulling it off the blocking board the morning of submission, not two minutes before walking out the door. I never got the chance to “wear” it or put it on my mannequin.

I got it back from the fair on Monday, and it’s now Sunday. I’ve just finished taking photos of it on my mannequin, and I struggled to get it to lay in a way that really showed it off well. I could just have no idea what I’m doing (totally probable ), but I reckon that perhaps that could have contributed to my not placing in the fair? The judges didn’t leave any feedback, so it’s all speculation. I also suspect I need practice with freeform, so…
