As I’m starting a second one of these, I wanted to put in some notes that I forgot before. First, the lady who made this pattern is from another country where English is not the native language. I am not sure if she “translated” this into English, or if she got someone else to do it, but there are a couple of places where the pattern isn’t 100% clear.

Also, after adding the safety eyes, I took the markers I was using for the eye placement and marked out the center of the front of the head and the back. I have found several instances where I have to adjust the beginning of my row to result in a symmetrical figure.

Once you are familiar with the pattern, it begins to be obvious what parts of a row are meant to fall in the front center of the face or body. By marking the center of the face, I count backward in the previous row to determine where the first stitch should fall, and move my stitch marker accordingly to indicate the beginning of the row.

It is incredibly easy to miscount stitches with this yarn.
