Made for Jess as part of Chinese New Year festivities. Pattern and yarn used were okay. Sizing down wasn’t fun for my hands, and while I love the look of the yarn, it isn’t super soft. As always, I used proportionally larger eyes. Tongue was a little frustrating and I had to do some adjusting.

I used poly-fil for the head and yarn scraps for the body, trying to put more weight in the bottom than the top so it might stand up easier. If I make any more of these, I want to remember to be careful with filling the tail - leaving a little less filling where I want it to bend.

I would love to see this as one continuous piece rather than 3 separate pieces that have to be sewn together. I’m not quite able to ad lib something like that yet, but maybe someday.
