Fun test of two different flap heels, one with a bit of shaping to round the heel, the other with no shaping (it leaves a bit of a point at the heel). Both are great if you are using a stranded pattern or striping yarn and don’t want the pattern to be interrupted with a gusset.

Both heels are little shorter than I usually make a regular flap heel but still fit okay.
