It is not obvious in the photo, but the yarn has a metallic thread that makes the shrug look as if it were dusted with glitter.

Didn’t like the fabric created for correct gauge so went down a needle size. I cast on for size 6 and and made pattern increases for size 8. This gave me the measurements for a size 6 shrug. I used like2makething’s notes for finishing neck.

Notes to self: To avoid the bar on the front neckline, do not use knit 1 front and back for increase. Also, if doing ribbing on cuff, start round so that ribbing will be symmetrical in relation to line of raglan sleeve.
