I used up all of the green and most of the natural color in the pompom. I had to brush it out to get it to look full enough. I used a stiff bristle hair brush but carding combs would work better.
To make the pompom I wrapped the yarn around my iPhone width wise across the screen. I tied it off using a small size zip tie and pulled it really tight with pliers.
