I believe I followed knitsandpots sequence which is this:

CO 190 Stitches with size 8 needle
K row, P row, K row, P row
Eyelet 5 rounds (yo,k2tog)
St. stitch 5 rounds
Purl 1 round
St. Stitch 5 rounds
Eyelet 5 rounds
St. stitch 6 rounds
Purl 1 round (center row)
Then reverse the order.

The pattern calls for a cast on of 210.
