I love cut-in sleeves. I followed this pattern for gauge and stitch count but used the pattern “Spumoni” for instructions in top-down construction. It was useful-many of these come out with overly deep armholes so the top of bra under the arm shows.

I kept the neck ring intentionally loose—started tighter originally and frogged for this version. After the 24th row of the yoke (front and back worked separately) I added an additional 2 stitches to either end of the needle every 4th row until 7.5” was reached (or until it falls where you want the side seams to begin). Picked up front and back on circulars and finished the body in the round. Added 4” to the length and did the waist shaping about 3” lower than the pattern called for.
