It is important to note that three other yarns were used in the creation of this purse. They were in my stash with no label but are just typical and affordable acrylic yarn that knit up to gauge to be the right substitute for what I did not have that was suggested in the book. It is why I have begun to include images of the yarns with the project as it is being knit. I hope it helps.
I would list this as easy but I did run into a problem with the pleats. You are instructed to use a double pointed size 9 to hold 3 stitches to the front (or back depending on how far along you are) and it some confusion with it not stating if you using the stitches on that needle and how to knit them together with the 3 next stitches. Whenever a similar stitch is done for say a cable stitch, it is alway clear which needles the next stitch(es) should be used either from the working yarn on the left needle or the stitches from the cable needle or in this case the double pointed needles. and if they are pleats to shape the bag, they should be spaced to be on both sides of the bag and/or if they are suppose to be centered. This is also not made clear and not just appear to knit up in a way to explain itself as you do it. There is a similar not-so-clear instruction when measuring for markers for handles too. This particular instruction could just be me not understanding it but the pleats are definitely not explained clearly. When I knit it again, I will make note of how I adjusted it but this is the first time I did it and just kinda improvised at the wing-of-my-seat and on the fly. So I could not possibly note it; it was really random in how I dealt with it. Also since it was black yarn combined with the fancy fur, it was also hard to see stitches which works covering up those hurdles. :-D
It is still a work-in-progress. I did modify a tad and plan to add a lining with to the zipper closure. So the handles are not attached nor is the bottom sew close yet to make that task easier to workout.
The only thing yet to do thatvI do with all my bags, is to add a lining for a nice clean finish but also to prevent anything slipping through the yarn.

Update
I was never able to finish this. During the COVID lockdown, I was stuck out of state since everything was shut down including business and transportation (I was using the coach bus to get back a from to visit family out-of-state; I did not have car at the time and car rentals were not an option either). I was renting a condo at the time and owner decided to sold during the lockdown. This was before cities and states pass laws to protect them. So I lost my home and everything I owned. It was upsetting to me and still is so it has taken all these years for me to even be on this page or look at my project to post an update in case anyone had been following along. For those who may have been following or reading this for the first time, I apologize for the delay to update this (and other projects I had begun). It took a long time and a lot of money to build up the stash I had for my project (and work) for yarn, sewing, artwork (watercolor, acrylic, watercolor pencils, pastel (oil and charcoal), Copic markers, pro camera, gear, pro photo printer, software, and so so so much more.
