There are 16 stitches per square, lots of markers - and I counted 3 times to be sure that the first row is correct.

20.09.08: Only 4 rows left!
23.09.08: Last row in work…
25.09.08: Last row finished
02.10.08: Still sewing…
05.10.08: Still sewing but only one sleeve left
07.10.08: Filling the edges
12.10.08: Started to sew the “normal” seams
19.10.08: Only a few dozen loose ends to weave in
20.10.08: Finished!

If you can read your increases and decreases directly from the chart (and plot it in the chart while casting on) you can at least rule out the mistakes you could make in writing it down in form of IIDD… The markers I used are green for increases, orange for decreases and blue at the parts in 1x1 rib - and it made my chart quite colorful ;-)
