An Excellent stocking pattern, would be easy to follow for first time sock knitters. I used the pattern for the shape, and found colorwork patterns to fit. For the First stocking I used colorwork charts from Falling Snow Stocking by Jennifer Hoel, and Patronus Mittens by Amanda Sund. The Second and Fourth stocking I used colorwork patterns that I found on Pinterest. For the Third stocking I used boarders that I found on Pinterest, as well as my own designs.
