Wanted to try a crocheted dishcloth and really love the little squares texture. For some reason, I thought this was reversible… However, had some leftovers from this yellow yarn and chained 40, without skipping stitches in the first row. Gave me 11 squares per row and 5 sqares in height before I ran out of yarn.

Did a row of single crochet from the right side to finish off. Fabric is probably a lot less dense than intended as I used a thinner yarn, but I think this will be better as it might dry quicker. Will probably have good “scrubbing properties” from the ridges.

If I did it again, I would probably chain about 8 stitches less so it would be a bit more square.40 chains give me about 25 cm length.

For the blue cloth, I only chained 36, but it is still bigger due to the thicker yarn. Would not recommend itas this is really thick, so will probably only dry slowly. .Got 10 squares width, 7 squares high. Finished off with two rows of single crochet, duing those as relief stitches for the wrong side row.
