Started with 2.75 mm needles, ribbing for 8 rounds.
Increased to 156 stitches and changed to 3.5 mm.
Plan to do the yoke with 3.5 mm needles and then change to bigger needles for the rest of the body.
Will only do 3 bobbles, will leave the one in the first round out.

This tutorial on knittinghelp.com » is very helpfull for the bobbles, I did not have to turn my work.

For the increases in the last bobble row, I did the yarnover increases as the pattern suggests and knitted them through the back loop in the next row so I would not get holes.

Not totally sure about the pink color - it has a slight greyish touch which I am not sure I like.
Now that the bobbles are done, it is just lace, so should be smooth sailing for the rest of the yoke

Oh, overread that there is another bobble at the very last round of the yoke - ok, well, but it will take some time until I get there…
Aiming to do two rounds minimum a day, one pattern round, one plain round.

Finished 4th increase row, now there only two eyelets per pattern repeat.

August 1, 2026

Finished yoke pattern, switched to 4.5 mm needles after the last increases, now on to the raglan increases for the rest of the yoke.

Ran out of the 1st ball of yarn in the row when I switched to bigger needles.

Will do yarnover increases here as I am supposed to increase every 2nd row, and it is easier to remember with yarnover increases, I think.

Reached 5th of 10 increases by the end of the day.

After 10 increases, my yoke is only at app. 18 cm, so I will have to knit another 6 rounds from here on to reach 20 cm depth.

Moved sleeve stitches to barber cord - has anybody else the problem that the cord slips of the working needle? Very anoying! I might switch back to was yarn next time … grmpf

Casted on 10 instead of 8 stitches under arm.

Ran out of 2nd ball of yarn 15 cm after sleeve separation

Reached 40 cm total length, app. 21 cm after sleeve separation.

Started ribbing, reached app. 43 cm total length

August 13, 2026

Finished body with about 10 meters of the 4th ball left.
Picked up 84 stitches for the arm
Knitt 35 rounds before decreasing to 66 stitches
Then 8 rounds in 1 by 1 ribbing before casting off.

Finished! Used app. 4.5 balls for what looks to be quite roomy for a size M as I used quite big needles. Photo is taken before blocking.

Took in-wear photos and I really like it! Fit and length is exactly like I wanted it to be. Only the slightly greyish tint of this colorway is not ideal, but all in all I would call this a success!
