Finally started this - and I am actually able to knit the yarn from inside from my frist-ever-nostepinne-ball (well, it is more of an egg, to be honest…). Casted on 7 stitches, as I want a 3 stitches garter border on each side. Use a kfab-increase at the first resp. last stitch after border and left and right of center stitch. Slip the centre stitch in every right-side row, purl in every wrong side row.

Quite like the pattern-colour-yarn-combination - the spine with the ridges looks like a New Zealand-ian farn tree thing.

Ran out of yarn and had to do the bind off in a different yarn (Regia 4ply in spring green). I used the Knitty Picot bind off - but will NEVER EVER do this with a knitting needle again, it took FOREVER! Next time, I will use my hook! Nevertheless, like how it looks. I did not really pin it for blocking, just soacked it and let it dry, which is why the edge still has a tendency to curl. Maybe I will block it again.

I like my choice with the spine, it reminds me of a birch leaf…

Colour is a yellowish-ferngreen, not the pale one which my monitor shows me in the last picture.
