Notes

Love to use just a tiny pattern to make counting easier in a stockinette sock. Really love the patterns, will start with this pattern which has a 8 stitch repeat. I am not sure currently if I will do one or two columns at the front of the sock. Will start with a 2 by 2 rib, I think, for 15 rounds or so.

Decided to insert just one column after 6 stitches
It is a little bit eaten by the yarn, but I mainly want to use this to count the rows and maybe it will even out later.

Finally finished knitting these in the TGV on my way on a business trip to Paris.
Do not know why they took me so long.
Quite like now the pattern looks even in this quite colorful self-striping yarn.
Now I can try the other patterns from the columns collection.
