Reached 10 rounds of elongated stitches in the “netting” part. This is a bit tedious to knit for me, just because I do not really like having to do the yarn over after every stitch.

This is totally my fault resp. my preference, the pattern is really clear and easy to knit.

I might alternate smaller and bigger needles next time maybe?

However, I like the fabric I am getting and so I will have to “power through”. I am intending to do 20 elongated rows in total before starting the handles.

Reached the handles. Used a crochet hook to cast on the stitches to make the handles a bit more durable.
