Notes

Actually mainly bought this for the hood.. But I also like the modular yoke and think it will look nice in my leftover Supergarne lace.

This is just a fingering weight, so I will knit a bigger size to get my recommended size 3. I am not sure if I want a folded cuff on this - we will see.

As my row gauge is way off I did 8 stripes which still only gives me a 20 cm yoke.
In addition I use selfstriping yarn for the wedges.

I am not too keen on all the live stitches on hold but picking them all up again would make too many maybe bulky ridges.

Also just did a simple cuff, not a folded one

August 31, 2023

Finished yoke but added App. 1cm in stockinette for more length.
Also casted on 16 stitches below the arms instead of 12

September 7, 2023

Reached about 12 cm after arm separation

September 11, 2023

Finished body, started first sleeve
Picked up 92 stitches

September 17, 2023

Finished sleeve 1, did 9 decreases every 10 rows, then decreased to 60 stitches and did 22 rows of ribbing.

September 20, 2023

This was negleted for some days, I worked to just after the 9th decrease at the second sleeve.
So just 10 additional rows of stockinette before I can start 22 rows of ribbing.

Finished knitting, just in time for when the weather starts to be a little less warm. It will be some time before I can actually wear this, though.
And I will have to weave in some ends and block this.

Took in-wear photos. It might not be my most-loved sweater, the garter part is a little bulky - but I really like how it looks combined with the hood.

Also I like the body length which I made on the shorter side and the blending in with broken seed stitch before I started the body’s ribbing.

And I really, really like it when worn with the hood!
