Decided I need another crazy Stephen West sweater as they are always so much fun to knit. Plan to use mainly brown-ish neutral colours, no marling for me. I also do not want to do the mesh parts, but will do lazy ribbing instead for those.

Started section 5.
Did section 1-3 in broken seedstitch, section 4 in garter as given in pattern. I am using fingering weight held single, so no marling for me.
February 25, 2023
Finished section 6, center front panel. Did not do a deep v-neck as given in the pattern, but worked straight in the middle after decreasing just 5 stitches.
February 26, 2023
Finished section 7, did broken seedstitch again to match the other side. Started section 8 in garter stitch

Started section 10, did all the patterns on the left side as on the right side, same with the patterns - mainly broken seed stitch, some garter, section 10 in knit-purl ridges changing every 2 rows

Oergs - ok, you are NOT supposed to attach section 12 to section 9 , but section 10 i.e. the sleeve. Yeah, another case of “trust the pattern” - it is all written in there…
Well, after I understood how the attachement works, all is fine and I am working on knitting - and later attaching - section 13…

Started section 14 to close the gap at the back.
Quite short so far, will probably add more length, mainly at the front part.

Finished bottom (lazy) ribbing (alternating k1 p1 with k all)
and picked up 78 stitches for sleeve , decreased to 64 stitches in the second round (all knit)
