My mum “ordered” a pair of socks for my dad for christmas - here we go…

Did 15 rows of ribbing, then started with 3 rows stockinette.

November 24, 2023

Started the heel after 13 cobble stones for the leg, calculated that I will do app. 12 cobble stones for the foot to reach 16.5 cm length after heel turn.

Did only decrease for the gusset every 3d row as the recipient has quite a high arch.

November 25, 2023

Finished 1st sock after 13 cobblestones, forget to switch to contrast colour for the toe - well, so this pair will have the toes in the main color. Off to second sock, I still have 2 pairs to knit for christmas.

Turned heel and finished gusset decreases on second sock.

November 29, 2023

Finished knitting, now I just have to sew in the ends.
