Did 4 increase markers instead of 3
Want to increase to app. 144 stitches
36 stitches between markers
Increased to app. 10 stitches between markers.

Increased to 37 stitches between markers, i.e. 148 stitches in total.
Placed a marker in first round without increases to check the length. Kept the markers inside so I know where to place the decreases (but might take some out if it bothers me in the straigt section)

Finished grey yarn 13,5 cm from cast on, started Unicorn colorway, app. 5 cm after end of increases now.

After sneeking around it for about a week, I finally decided to “invest” in the Musselburgh pattern - there must be a reason why so many people love it, right?

Yes, and I am glad I did! You get a huge amount of sizes /gauges, tips for customization (which length the different sections should be like) and even a special spreadsheet for customization - love this!

So with my 148 stitches I am somewhere between AL and AXL which is exactly what I was looking for.

Decided to decrease 1 stitch in each section, so I am back at 144 stitches.

Ran out of unicorn at 22 cm length

Reached 15 cm for the purple Nord yarn, aiming for 20 cm

Did Helical striping with dark teal Nord for app. 6 cm then replacing it with the blue Supergarne

Finished! Did decreases any other round instead of all three rounds.

Big enough for my 59 cm head but do not really like how it looks when I wear this.
