Well, I might try to get another 4-ball-pack at Aldi tomorrow. If they do not have anything left, I might add in a bit from my cream/natural sockyarn stash for the sleeves or so - we will see. Or I also have some Drops Safran left which I could use.

Did not do stripes for short row section, but just plain pink.

Reached 21 cm after first 2.5 Stripes
Added in the orange yarn as I want to save pink for the front

Yeah, luckily I could get another 2 balls each of pink and apricot, so no more saving!

Finished back, picked up with a 2.5 mm needle for the front, knitted the stitches on the 3.5 mm after picking up.

Joined into the round
Cast in 4 stitches each under the underarm

Added 3 yellow stripes, ran out of 2nd pink ball in 4th stripe after joining for the round.

Finished 4th pink stripe, started 4th yellow stripe.

Started 5th yellow stripe after joining into the round

Finished body and neck - did neck first to make sure I have enough of the pink yarn as this is my last ball.

Have 18 g left for the sleeves, picked up only 68 stitches for sleeve, increased to 84 stitches in the second row.

Used only about 1.5 g of yarn for the first pink stripe, so I will probably be able to do about 3 pink stripes before substituting pink with apricot.

Finished first sleeve
Did 13 of the lighter Stripes
Then 4rounds in Apricot
Decreased to 60 stitches
6 rounds ribbing
2 rounds in pink incl. Bind-off

Picked up 3 stitches every 4 rows for the second sleeve instead of 2 every 3 rows which turns out to give me the stitch count I am supposed to have. With the first sleeve, I had to increase quite a bit before reaching this amount.

Finished knitting.
Have about 5 metres left of the pink yarn, but nearly 2 balls of apricot and about half a ball each of white and yellow.

Did not do the Italian bind of for sleeves and body, and though I did the doubled neck, I am not sure I like it in this thick yarn.

Will probably knit it again in fingering.
