Notes

I have a crocheted shawl with bamboo sockyarn which I love to wear in summer. I always wanted to try this pattern, but as I am not too much into the ridges, I do it in stockinette and just adding an eylet row edged by 2 garter ridges every 7 rows or so.
These eylet rows remind me of Seepocken, hence the name.
Finished! I am not totally sure if I like that it is more wide than long - we’ll see. You can definiteyl wear it with right and wrong-side in front.

I did 9 garter ridges without eylets gefore binding off.
For casting off, I did first a row of single crochet, then three rows of double crochet on top - now it looks like “Trillian with Seepocken”.
However, I still like the feel of that bamboo yarn a lot.
I wore it in the office today, though I did not yet weave in the ends.

All pictures are pre-blocking, I will definitely not block it a lot as I like the texture of the garter ridges and eylet rows. However, due to the stockinette, one end ros quite a lot, I am not totally sure if I like that. You could say it looks like a sea snail…. hm…
