Fell in love with how this yarn looks in stockinette.
Casted on 66 stitches, 6 rows garter stitch, 3 stitches garter on each side. Was inspired by this project
Finished - I really used EVERY bit of yarn, just had a 10cm tail left for weaving in. Could be a little longer (is app. 130 cm), so if I did something similair again, I would cast on fewer stitches. Of course it still rolls, but I don’t care. Did not really pin it, just washed and let dry. Really love the feel of the yarn and the colours, I guess this will get a lot of wear.
However, the yarn is really thick-and-thin and heavily overspun in parts. I have the feeling it biases a lot, so I would go for a balancing pattern like garter or seed stitch if I would use this for something where gauge and fit matters.

I LOOOVE the thick and thin texture, I think the transitions look like landscapes in parts.
Knitting was a little boring, I have to admit, but I was brave and DID NOT cast on for my summer top in between.

Landscape pictures are taken during our hiking vacaction in Obersdorf in June 2011, I took it with me there as a travelling project.
