Wanted to knit this for ages, so finally, those will be done for my “Socktober” project this year.

October 11, 2026

Turned the heel after 1.5 repeats of the pattern, started heel flap after first stockinette round of after the last purl ridge.

I assume I will do a total of 2 pattern repeats (i.e. purl ridges twice on each side) for the foot.

ETA: Started toe directly after the second purl ridge of the 4th purl ridge part - somehow missed that I already have done 3 purl ridges - well… not a biggie…

Will only do 3 rounds after first three decreases

Finished first sock.

Did not get as much knitting done on my business trip, I am closed to turning the heel on the second sock.

Finished! Glad they are done. Will not be my Go-To-Sock pattern, I just do not like knit-purl-patterns.
