Finished first sock. I did not use a short row heel, but a toe-up heel flap and gusset construction and I did a row of single crochet to cast off.

Finished! I stopped alternating skeins when I started the gusset increases and I ran out of the Farbenglück yarn when working the heel flap on the second sock. So I completed the heel with the Modena yarn and then used a rest of the green Drops Nord for alternating in the leg.

Was interesting to work a sock toe-up after such a long time - and I still think this is not my favourite way of knitting socks. I much prefer top-down.

But I like the finished object and the Tipsy Toe part of it. Maybe I will try to knit that sock top down next time.
