Want to make more Utsubo-socks at once! Plan to do toe and heel in coral, main sock in the self patterning Fabel and I cord with the turquoise.

Did a wrap-around cast-on of 8 stitches
Increased through simple yarn overs throught (ktbl to avoid holes)
Increased every round until 16 stitches per needle, 32 stitches in total, then every other round until 30 stitches per needle, 60 stitches in total.

Did 5 rounds in toe color after finishing the toe increases before adding in the Fabel yarn.

Not a lot of contrast between toe yarn and main yarn - a bit more in the photo than in real life.

The Hjerteyarn is really very soft, not sure if it will be very durable, will see.

Started gusset increases after 28 rounds of multicolored yarn after blending in after the toe

Gusset increases 10 stitches each outside of marker
9 double stitches each before starting heel flap

Started second sock, changed colors and did the toe in the teal yarn, will do the heel in coral this time and the Icord in blue again.

Finished! Really like these, there will be definitely more in my future. As for the length, these are more on the short size, so I could go for app. 13,5 - 13.8 cm before starting the gusset increases.

In addition, I had to do quite a bit of sewing up holes between heel and gussets, will have to work on my technique there.

Other than that, I highly recommend this pattern!
