Finished! Used an edging from “Crochet Adorned” and quite like the result… The yarn -needle combination for the solid square is a little loose, so the front shines through, but I do not really care, otherwise it would have been a little too thick for my taste.

Inspired by the versions done for the US Potholder Swap 2009 - love the color combination of green and bright poppy read. Thinking about making the second one with a black centre, for more poppy-likeness.
