Notes

There is a Willow craze going around in the German Ravelry world - it all started out with a KAL in the Drachenwolle group. I had a look at Hanne70 ‘s version during Silvesterstrick and decided to give it a try. Then I saw Doemmys in a semi-solid colour and decided I like it best in semi-solids.

Had to rip back the first try as I - what else - twisted the cast on (twice!) and only remarked when turning the hem.

2nd try was better - did a backwards loop cast on which is easy to pick up, I added a second needle and did a 3-needle bind off to turn the hem.

k2tg was a little tedious at first, especially as I only had one of my old Inox circulars free which are not very sharp. But did not want any interchangeables, I find that with sock yarn, the thread always gets caught. After the first half of the first lace section, I was ok with it.

Only did the first decreases as given, then I decreased 5 stitches each in the 2nd and 11th stockinette row.
Only did 10 lace rows and 12 stockinette rows as I absolutely wanted to have 5 lace sections at least.
I am currently at the fifth lace section, quite like it.

Did a 6th lace sections and another 16 rows of stockinette, decreased to 95 stitches in total, Used a single crochet bind off, quite stretchy. I really like the size - now we will see how much wear it will get.

Also did this for the KALs in the “Liebhaber handgefärberter Sockenwolle” group and in “Zu schön für Socken” group.
