Increased to 136 stitches
Started knitting in the round

Threaded a contrast yarn after 7 cm straight which I plan to use for a 3-needle-bind-off for the folded brim. We will see how this will work.

Ran out of Gründl yarn app. 2 cm after contrast thread, added in Drops Nord.

February 3, 2026

Started 3-needle-bind-off for the folded brim, but paused after about 1/4 as it is tedious to do in artificial light.

February 4, 2026

Finished brim bind-off and sewn in the ends. Fits ok for my taste, could have been a tad longer so that I could have a wider brim folded up, but it is ok and I did not want to start another ball of the Drops Nord.
