I will make these for the Ravellenics! It should be a fun challenge as I have never felted before! Meep!

There are SOME doubt… but I finished the slippers!! This was my first felted project ever… and guess what? I discovered I don’t like felting.. To me it’s like a difference between a cook and a baker. I’m a cook and I seriously hate baking because I am supposed to follow directions EXACTLY for best results… and then put it in the oven and pray it comes out. As a cook, I like to make adjustments, taste half way and have the item come out exactly HOW I WANT.

Despite the nerves, I am pretty happy with how the slippers came out, although due to some probably tight stitches, one of the bunny face came out a little warped. Also, next time I might make the medium size, although I have large feet, I had to felt this quite a bit for it to fit. I would rather have snug slippers instead.

Overall, this was a great ravellenic experience, it was a challenge, I learned a lot and I got some pretty nifty new slippers out of it! :)
