This is a great pattern! I love the look and it’s nice and holey for a great summer hat. The next time I make this hat, I will use a smaller hook, either an H or maybe even a G, depending on the yarn. I have some DK cotton that would be nice that an I hook would work with to get the smaller fit I was looking for. I will also probably be blocking it to get the brim to be straighter. I took 3 rounds off the brim because I felt it was wide enough. This is why I look for ward to making it in another hook or thinner cotton.
