I’m going to try very hard to be nice about this…The pattern is not well written. Her video tutorial is confusing, at best. I set the difficulty at medium, because if you are a beginner at reading patterns, it would be super confusing. I would advise against purchasing the pattern at $5. If the price gets lowered to maybe $1 it might be worth it, as the essential design of the hat is great and lends to great color combos. The yardage on the yarn is a really rough estimate. The hat weighs 66 grams. Side note on the yarn, it does not lend well to slouchiness with an I hook on this pattern, so I didn’t make it slouchy. I would try again using this yarn and a K hook, maybe adjusting the initial ‘crown’ to get 7.5” across, then the clusters from there are easy as long as you finish the last row on the crown in multiples of 3. If that makes sense…
