This is the hat that replaced Meditation. I knit the larger size in an effort to make sure that it would cover my ears entirely, which it does. I used the smaller needle for the ribbing and the larger needle for the body of the hat as recommended. Like nearly everyone before me, I used Grumperina’s tutorial for cabling without a cable needle. When decreasing for the crown, I replaced the SSK with K2togtbl because I felt that it better preserved the look of the twisted stitches.
