Our yearly knitting week with the Belgian knitting group will take us to Northern Ireland this year.

Friday: Dublin, visit Liz Christy’s Swallow Studios, weaving and dyeing demo.
Saturday : Donegal, workshop with Edel MacBride.
Sunday : Sligo, Drumcliffe, grave of W.B. Yeats
Monday : Visit Foxford Woolen Mills, the idyllicly situated Kylemore Abbey and Gardens. Then to Galway and short stop in coastal Clifden.
Tuesday: full day guided visit of the Aran island Inish Mor by ferry and visit to the Aran Sweater Market.
Wednesday : sightseeing of the Burren and the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. In the afternoon visit of the Burren Smokehouse Visitor Centre to see how salmon is being smoked and of course tasting of the smoked salmon…
Thursday : Visiting Dublin, and the This is Knit woolshop of course…
