The goat has come back to me for repairs after someone’s dog decided it needed to be a bit more forcefully decapitated … looks like I’ll be re-knitting an ear and a horn, and re-attaching the decapitation-reset string. Nothing too difficult, except for figuring out how I buried the ends of the yarn from sewing on the horn and ear!

Ears are being reknit in a slightly different off-white colour as I can’t find what I have left of the original cream yarn. Spotlight isn’t open at half past 11 at night, and the last time I was there, I didn’t get this cream colour cos there was none on the shelves. I do still have plenty of the yarn I used for the horns, but they might get re-knit anyway, who knows what’s happened with my gauge after nearly 4 years!

Repairs all completed! The knitting up of the ears and horns took about a swimming lesson’s worth of time, and the sewing up was helped along by a cat pinning me to the couch due to cat-lap requirements and took about an episode of something food-tv-related.
