2013-08-01 - Began this after buying a lot of 4 skeins of cotton yarn on clearance $3.96. I have a niece who’s having her first baby, and I don’t need this dishcloth. Four of these put together will make a 20”x20” blanket for a baby.

2013-08-07 - Finished 1st square. Used backwards loop e-cast on with #4 needle. Tried casting off normally with #8 but was too snug and tight of gauge, resulting in the cast off edge being shorter than the other three sides. I frogged the cast off and tried again, this time with #10½ needle. This seemed to work OK.

Now it is time to cast on 2nd square. 46St, #4 needle, e-cast on.
