Started 116 chains as per website but that was too much so had to rip some of starting chain

I find the written instructions about skipping stitches a bit confusing and the small squares did not line up at first.
I decided to start over , looking at the picture for reference

After 1st 3 rows i noticed i did a filet row after r1 and3

Decided to rep filet afrer 2 rows until the end and 1 row before end

11 repeats in and mandala cake almost done

Size is now approx 60x70 cm without border

Finisjed after 12 repeats 6 repeats wode.
Bordr sc around, v stitch 2 roes, last round 2sc in all ch spaces of v stitch
