Started yesterday;
The border knitted in the main color instead of CC1.
An extra needle mock cable rib knitted.

• border with 3 mm
• short rows and part with 1 color with needle 3.25
• stranded with needle 3.5 mm The flowers in the yoke chart knitted in CC2 (with 3 colors at the same time) The flower heart in CC2 and extra accentuated.

March 25, 2025

Early this morning I knitted the last rows of the yoke. I knitted the bunnies in MC and the part with the flowers in 3 colours at the same time. Then I accentuated the flower hearts and gave the bunnies all a beady eye. Just fitted and in 2 cm I will divide the sleeves and body separately.

April 2, 2025

Last weekend spent on the plain part of the body and the first sleeve. Then finished the sleeve with the charts I had in mind. Not the original sleeve charts but chart 5/2
That way I could get used to these charts.
For the body I will change them too in order so that requires quite a lot of attention.
Mock cable hem instead of the folded hem from the pattern : Last2 rows i did: : 1 row k2 p2tog and last row k2tog and p1 so i had k1/p1 ( 1/1 rib )
italian bind off but a bit looser than normal .

Now start with the motif for the body, I have changed the motifs of the bottom edge and will require a lot of counting and attention

Yesterday I finally finished the motif of the body, despite the fact that we were away with the caravan I was still able to finish it. Now makestarting with the cuff with the mock cable rib as sleeve 1.

The sweater is finished in exactly 3 weeks, I also knitted the band at the bottom in the mock cable. 

Just washing and blocking. The pattern will be released in June so I can show pictures of the end result on instagram facebook etc.
It was a fun project and the size is perfect, fits well.

Gisteren begonnen;
Het boord in de hoofdkleur gebreid in plaats van de CC1. Een extra naald mock cable rib gebreid.

• boordje met naald 3 mm
• short rows en gedeelte met 1 kleur met naald 3,25
• stranded met naald 3,5 mm De bloemen in de yoke chart in CC2 gebreid (met 3 kleuren tegelijk) Het bloemhartje in CC2 en extra geaccentueerd.

Vanmorgen vroeg de laatste naalden van de yoke gebreid. De konijntjes heb ik in MC gebreid en het gedeelte met de bloemetjes met 3 kleuren tegelijk. Daarna de bloemhartjes geaccentueerd en de konijntjes allemaal een kraaloogje gegeven. Net gepast en over 2 cm ga ik de mouwen en body apart opdelen.**

Effen body klaar even stil gelegd en verder met effen gedeelte mouw gegaan 2x na 6 en 10 x na 5 naalden geminderd omdat ik op 22 cm uit wilde komen voor de konijntjes teltekening. Op de ene mouw 3 x naar links ( midden ) kijkend op de andere mouw naar rechts ( midden) kijkend is het idee.

Afgelopen dagen besteed aan het effen gedeelte van het lijf en mouw nr.1. Besloten om het motief wat ik in gedachten had voor de mouw ook maar te breien zodat ik al gewend kon raken aan deze teltekeningen. Het motief is een deel van de onderrand en niet wat origineel op de mouw gepland is. Het mouwboord heb ik net zoals de hals met het kabeltje gebreid.
Nu starten met het motief voor het lijf , die onderrand heb ik qua motieven omgegooid en zal heel veel telwerk en aandacht opeisen

Gisteren toch nog het motief van de body afgekregen, ondanks dat we met de caravan weg waren heb ik dit toch nog af kunnen maken. Nu het boordje met de mock cable rib maken zoals bij mouw 1.

Precies binnen 3 weken is de sweater klaar, Ik heb de band onder ook in de mock cable gebreid.
Nog even wassen en blokken. Het patrooon komt in juni uit dus dan mag ik foto’s van het eindresultaat showen op instagram facebook etc.
Het was een leuk project en de maat is perfect, valt goed.
