Made a swatch: This combination is perfect.
Bomull lin : coton/linen and a little colored detail by using the Rico make it tweed in pastel

A new test for Jutta (Hintermstein), for me always a party with the perfectly fitting feminine designs that she creates every time.

The yarn combination that I use is a Bomull lin (cotton with linen) and a subtle knitting thread that adds pastel tweed to the whole.
The bomull-lin itself is a terrible yarn to knit with, stiff and does not feel nice in the hands. It also does not work up quickly.
In retrospect I realize that years ago I also knitted a sweater in the same shade and yarn and had this experience then too.
Still, it fits very well and I like to wear that sweater and especially in the summer it fits wonderfully. The nice thing is that the knitting thread gives a completely different effect.

In the meantime, body and sleeves are separated and I am now continuing with the body.

Both sleeves and body are done. Now on to the front bands, collar and pockets.
