Niece’s first birthday is coming up, and I just fell in love with this pattern. Something special for my special girl. Finally some nice weather, too, so I can knit outside!

She’s done, and I love her so. The Auburn Stroll was perfect for her hair. I wound it an extra time, since it’s fingering weight and not the DK in the pattern, which worked well. To secure the ends for the embroidery, I ran the thread through from the back and tied the ends together there, hidden by her hair.
