Such a fun pattern……

When I started testing this pattern I was new to Brioche Crochet. At first I had some difficulties to get the correct start and also was a bit unsure where exactly to place the stitches. But after a few rounds I got it and it was pure fun……

To get some practice I made some Candies and tried different colour combinations.

Colour A: Mocha
Colour B: Sage

Colour A: Cream
Colour B: Pistachio

Color A: Mocha
Color B: Clematis

Color A: Clematis
Color B: Mocha

Colour A: Sage
Colour B: Cream

For the Sage / Cream Swirly Candy I did 16 repeats of round 8 and 9. So I think it should have 38 rounds (??? not sure, as I didn‘t count them)
The border Is worked:
Final round (instructions for round 22) in Cream
one round single crochet in Sage (with a dc in each corner)
one round single crochet in Cream (with 2 dc in each corner)
one round crab stitch in Cream

I am just turning the Mocha/Clematis and Clematis/Mocha Swirly Candies in a cushion cover.
For both I repeated round 8 and 9 thirteen times and did round 22 as border.
I am still trying which joining method is best……
