I loved this project for my first attempt at double-knitting. I used the videos by L. on the Ravelry Double-Knitting Group page to learn the two-color cast-on.

The pattern called for a size 6 needle, probably ok with a heavier worsted yarn, but for the Wool of the Andes I needed to go down to a size 4 needle to produce a nice fabric.

Update: I wanted my potholder to be more square, so I tried unsuccessfully to block it into shape. The yarn felted a little.

Next time I make this project, I plan to add a few rows so that the finished potholder is more square.
