Cast on 41 stitches (pattern says 52) so only 3 pattern repeats in a row. To make an 8” square cloth, needed 5 pattern repeats in row height.
Gauge 20 stitches per 10cm/5 stitches per inch (washed).
Nice quick and easy knit.
Linen softens with handling and washing.
It is naturally exfoliating and anti-bacterial, so is ideal for this sort of project.
