27th March, 2014 - Okay so this lace knitting thing is WAY more complex than I expected. I got about 35 or so rows in, made a mistake, had to go back, and am completely lost. And there this project sat for the better part of 12 months.

With the Hufflepuffs doing a shawl KAL I’m inspired to get this back out, frog and restart!

I saw this yarn in The Workbasket and it was so beautiful and soft that I had to have it!

After some Rav searching I found the Semele pattern and knew they’d be perfect.

I’ve gone for a 3mm for a nice light but not too flimsy lace.
