March 2023 - new cast on, very straight forward to knit and so far an enjoyable project.

May 2023 - project finished and waiting for its block. I had the same issue with picking up stitches for the neckline that I’ve had with a previous PetiteKnit projects. The size I knit called for a little over 200 stitches to be picked up for the neckline in order to knit an icord. I was only able to pick up somewhere nearer 150 stitches. I can’t see how I could have pick any more stitches up.

May 2023. Project blocked. Fit is really good although I suspect I could shorten the yolk a bit if I were to knit again. I like the way the icord helps to create a tucked effect in the body.

The impact of picking up less stitches at the neckline has been to pull the neckline up quite a bit and in hindsight this is a good thing. Prior to knitting the neckline icord, the vneck was quite cleavage revealing and that’s not really my style.

Final project weighs 230g.
