Frogged and restarted using the Geek Sock pattern! It’s flying now.

Geek socks frogged! Can’t seem to get this sock nailed. So on 1st May 2016 I set about knitting he sock again and knit on nothing else during that week. 6 days later one sock is done. Cast on 64, 16 rows approx for 2x2 ribbing, 15 stripes (approx 60 rows) for leg, eye of partridge heel flap and then after gusset decreases there were about 13 stripes (approx 56 rows) up to toe decreases. Needs a block as toes slightly squished but that should be fixable.

First sock used just 20g yarn.

The second sock in the pair is an experiment to see how a 60 stitch cast on compares…

Finished sock number 2. 60 stitches on 2.5mm needles creates a good sock for my feet.
