Colour order: dark grey, lemongrass, light grey, ocean, mid grey, rust

If I were to make one again I would use the clasp weft join throughout and not just on a few of the colour changes as I did with this project. It would make the colour changes so much easier.

I also think I have probably knit this too long in the body. However I will wait until the cooler months when I wear this and make a decision then as to whether or not to frog back a little bit and make it a more cropped version as the original pattern is.

Update end September 2021: I didn’t wait - I went for the chip and cut out around about 5 or 6 inches and then re-knit the ribbing. This is now so much better. I should have heeded the pattern instructions in the first place! A good lesson though in learning what suits my body. So where this sweater was initially one that I had fallen out of love with, I now can’t wait to wear it when the weather cools down just a little.
