I can’t recall which needle size I used for this but it’s possible it was US 7 (4.5mm).

I should have learned my lesson before with dye lots, even if they are from the same lot there can be a difference in color. I should have alternated rows between the two to avoid such a bold difference.

I decided to add more rows of eyelets as I went. Very easy to knit up and didn’t take long at all, within a week or so I was done.

Definitely glad that I took the time to block this shawl. I know a lot of people don’t suggest to block garter stitch but this shawl grew a good amount after it was blocked, evened out the sections and guideposts.

Overall I’m glad that I snatched this pattern up when it was offered for free, love the shape and it was easy to work with.
