I always planned to knit Gyllis with my madelinetosh Worsted ginger, and realized only at the moment of wounding the yarn, that I clearly won’t have enough.. Obviously, I can’t find more of it, because 80/10/10 worsted is not a regular base, it was only on the etsy shop.
7th april : soaked today, and it bleeds, don’t know wich of the two yarns though.. But as I’ve never seen Drops alpaca bleeding before, when it’s the first time I use Holstgarn Supersoft, I tend to put the blame on the supersoft.. It bleeds, not strongly, but even the fifth bath still have some green in the water..
Also, I highly recommend to bind off with an plain needle size bigger than the one used to knit, I use only a half size bigger, and the edge tends to curl.
